School Houses

At Linlithgow Primary School we have a House system to promote inclusion, competition and camaraderie.

There are four school Houses; Bruce, Douglas, Stuart and Wallace. Every child is allocated a House when they join Linlithgow Primary School. 

P7 House Captains and Vice Captains are elected by the members of their House every year. 

Children gain House point tokens in school for displaying attributes associated with our school values e.g. working hard, having a positive attitude, being kind etc. Tokens earn points for each House and at the end of each term, children in the winning House are given a special treat.

We also recognise individual successes by awarding children the following certificates when they have earned the required number of House points/tokens:

• 15+ points- Rainbow award
• 25+ points- Bronze award
• 50+ points- Silver award
• 75+ points- Gold award
• 100+ points- Platinum award
